Why Indian farming is poor than foreign farming?

Hi, i am abhishek student of agriculture and i am going to discuss about the poor condition of farming in india..   india is the second largest country in the world producing agriculture product  after china. India contribute 15% in the gdp. The arable land of india is much higher then the china. but still the production rate of the agriculture product is lower then china there are following points why indian farming is poor than foreign farming lets discuss 1. Lack of knowledge  The indian farmer have lack of knowledge about farming. Such as machinery seed rate n other fertilizer dozes. In india the rural area have lack of knowledge about farming and marketing.  The govt. has established krishi vigyaan kendr (KVK) .
