1. Pravasi kaushal vikas yojana 2017
The 14th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD 2017), to be held in Bengaluru from 7 to 9 January 2017, made an important announcement to provide employment to youth for overseas employment. The Honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi said that the "Pravasi Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PKVY)" will be a special program to train Indians who get jobs abroad. This will train them in appropriate skill sets that address requirements in communication, business specific knowledge and skills with cultural orientation.
The aim of this yojana to provide training and certify indians who are seeking overseas employment in selected sector in line with international standards.
2. SAMPADA Scheme 2017
The Central Sector Plan - SAMPADA (Agro-Marine Processing and Agro-Processing Cluster Development Plan) was approved by the Cabinet in May 2017 with a cycle of 14-20 Finance Commission cycles of 2016-20 cotaminus. Now the name of this scheme has been changed to "Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana (PMKSY)".
Th aim of the scheme to reducing food wastage and doubling farmers income.
3. Saubhagya 2017
Pradhan mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana - 'Saubhagya' a new scheme was launched by the hon'ble prime minister. Under Saubhagya free electricity connections to all households in rural areas and poor families in urban areas will be provided. There are around 4 crore un- electrified households in the country and they are targeted for providing electricity connections by dec 2018. Rural electrification corporation (REC) has designated as its nodal agency for the saubhagya scheme.
4. Ayushman Bharat 2018
This Scheme is approved by cabinet on 21 march 2018. It is a national health protection Scheme, which will cover over 10 crore poor and vulnerable families providing coverage upto 5 lakh rupees per family per year for secondary and tertiary care hospitalization. Ayushman Bharat - National health protection mission will subsume the ongoing centrally sponsored schemes - Rashtrita Swasthya Bima yojana (RSBY) and senior citizen health insurance scheme (SCHIS).
5. National Nutrition Mission 2018
This mission has been launched on 8 march 2018. POSHAN Abhiyaan was launched by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan in March 2018. It targets to reduce level of under-nutrition and other related problems by ensuring convergence of various nutrition related schemes. It has been set up with a 3 year budget of Rs. 9046 crore commencing from 2017-2018. The NNM is comprehensive approach toward raising nutrition level in the country on a war footing.
6. PM Kisan Samman Nidhi 2018
The Scheme aims to supplement the finacial needs of the farmers in producing various inputs to ensure proper crop health and appropriate yields, commensurate with the anticipated farm income.
