What is amritjal ?

Amrit jal is the organic fertilizer which which is used as pesticide , soaking seed and provides nutrients to the plants. which is prepared from cow dung and cow urine and organic jaggery.

How to prepared Amrit jal at home with zero investment :-

Ingredients for manufacture amrit jal :-

  • 1 kg cow dung (native cow)
  • 1 litre cow urine 
  •  half kg organic jaggery 
  • 10 litre of water
  • a drum
  • 100 litre of water drum 

firstly take 10 litre of water drum and put cow dung and mix with the stick and rotate the mixture with stick slowley in the clockwise direction. Mix cow dung with water properly check that there should no clods were left of cow dung. Now add cow urine and jaggery in the mixture of 10 litre of water.  Mix the ingredients with stick clockwise. Note that the process will take in the shade because the bacteria present in the mixture can't control the high temp. In the direct sunlight the bacteria are dead so the process will take place in the shade. After proper mix cover the drum with plastic or cotton clothes for fermentation. Rotate the mixture with stick clockwise another for few minutes. Repeat the process for 4-5 days. after 5 days mixture is ready for use.

The amrit jal can't use in direct to the plant.The prepare amrit jal mix with the 100 litre of water then used in the field. you can also use the amritjal in patches that 1 litre o amrit jal is mix mixed with the 10 litre of water. the mixture can be stored for 2-3 months.

Uses:-

  • Amrit jal is used as soaking of seed before the germination. for the betterment of the seed germination and plant growth .
  • It is used as transplanting seedling soaking i.e used as when plants is taking from nursery from transplanting that root are soaked in the amritjal.
  • it provides nutrients to the plant.
  • It is also used in the mulching process.
